Q&A with Tom
Q: What attracted you to Montage?
A: My passion is creating software that helps Human Resource professionals address everyday challenges and solve their strategic hiring issues. Montage gives me the opportunity to work with such an innovative video interviewing solution. Because the technology has a rich and proven success with stellar clients, I was eager to join Montage and continue the evolution of the product.
Q. What did you think about Montage’s hiring process?
A. Being new to the video interviewing platform, it was imperative for me to understand and experience first-hand the complete candidate experience through Montage’s own hiring process and the use of the Montage video interviewing technology. As a candidate, the live interview through Montage created a unique experience and allowed me to connect in a more personal way to the team interviewing me for the role. I was able to understand the role and both verbally and visually get a sense of the company culture. When I arrived on site for my final interview, not only did I already feel like I had met my interviewers before based on our previous video interactions, I was surprised at how at ease I felt with the in person interview process as a result. In fact, when approaching the building, I recognized one of the people from Montage. Not only did he recognize me as well, but with a warm wave and welcome, helped escort me into the building for what would be a fantastic in person experience. I really felt like the entire Montage experience not only set me up for a successful interview, but set the stage to influence my acceptance of the offer as well.
Q. What surprised you most about Montage once you were on board?
A. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the maturity of this purpose-built video interviewing technology. Our clients have limitless possibilities for leveraging the technology to immediately impact hiring. The company’s rich history and its dedication to client success is tangible throughout the entire Montage organization. I am thrilled to be able to bring my passion to the organization to help drive continued success!
